A message from our Hague Minor Ball Representatives:
This may seem early, but before we know it Spring will be upon us, as well as our 2018 ball season. We have plans to improve our program in a few ways this season and we are excited to share these with you. Our goal is to have a batting cage and pitching machine ready to go for the new season. We are also planning on purchasing some new jerseys for the older age groups. This all needs financial support. Fees have gone up a bit this year to help us out with some of these costs. If you own a business or know someone that may consider supporting our minor ball program, please pass on this donation letter – see below. This ball program is only successful with the support of our community.
The Town of Hague has committed to mowing the lawn for us but we are in need of up-keep of the diamonds. These jobs include: harrowing/dragging all 3 diamonds 1-2 times a week, whipper snipping when necessary, round up weeds on the diamonds, in the dugouts, warning strip on diamond 1 and around the backstops in the spring, midseason, and Fall. If we can not find volunteers to commit to these jobs we may need to tender this position out which will need to be financially supported as well. If you feel you would like to volunteer for one of these jobs, please speak to Tanya or Dana.
Thank you to all who consider supporting our minor ball program this year. We look forward to a great 2018 ball season.
Please make note of the March 15th registration deadline. Late registrations will be subject to a late fee.
Please email us if you have any questions or concerns.
